For each referral you send our way, we are sending care packages to deployed Whatcom County soldiers through the Lynden VFW! 

Last year, your referrals enabled us to donate 

• 46 packages of children's socks and underwear (the most needed items) to the Sumas Community Clothesline
• 44 bags of dog and cat food to the Whatcom Humane Society
• 70 carbon monoxide detectors to our local Whatcom County Fire Departments to donate to families in need
• 60 items including packages of diapers, children's books and movie tickets to Lydia Place
• 120 trees to the Whatcom Land Trust which we were fortunate enough to also help plant on site
